A brief history of a fully lived life

Paul Robinson (Robby) was born in Sadsbury , Pennsylvania. The first of four children of Eldon and Virginia Robinson. They moved their young family to Garrettsville Ohio. His Father was a railroad brakeman. During these years he attended school and worked at a grocery and then a filling station. His first car was a result of an accident. He wrecked his Father’s 1932 Chevrolet , his dad had him fix it and then it was his. He graduated High School in 1948. Shortly after he met his first Wife Glynnis and they had a daughter Sarah (Suzy). The following year he received a telegram that started with the word “Greetings”, It was a draft notice. Within a month he was on the longest trip he had ever experienced .First to Seattle by train and then Korea by troop ship. He served his country diligently and was awarded an order of commendation, leaving the Army at the rank of Corporal. Upon his return he went to school to be an electrician in Florida. After completion he found the Job that would be his career. He took a job for Pan Am World Services at Cape Canaveral Air Station. He had joined our country’s fledgling space program. To this day his work still shows on may of the structures at what would become Kennedy Space Center. He traveled worked and raised a child to adulthood. After the passing of his first wife he met Loretta (Lori). He was smitten. He showed up every night to sit in her section for dinner though he lived 7 miles away. They Married in 1982. They raised her 3 teenage children to adulthood and then set off on the road to see this country. He and Lori logged hundreds of thousands of miles and saw many of our nation’s wonders. He was a mentor to his kids . An avid Nascar and racing fan. Loved music and performed in barbershop quartets. They loved to travel seeing New Zealand, Tahiti, Mexico, and every state in the continental united states. He left soft and gentle mark on this world and his legacy is what he gave too all who knew and loved him.
